"I have a friend that is all alone and has been having issues with his health. I've been after him for a few months to get to a doctor so he can find out what is wrong. He has no insurance and is on Social Security. He has no family and his friend that had been helping him out has been stealing from him playing on his confusion. Not only has his health been poor but his friend had been taking the money given to pay his bills and then pocketing it. Consequently his water was turned off Friday. When he called me in a panic we talked it through. He is going to let me help him with his bills and keep track of his money. So to get to my point after all of this he just doesn't want to bother anyone or be a burden. He had seen a doctor in Nowata but she has since moved on to Tulsa, he doesn't drive so just hasn't gone back. He called me Sunday morning asking me to take him to the Emergency Room because he just didn't feel right. We went and they have given him orders to see a ENT and have a CT scan done within 5-7 days. (he has a HUGE lump on the side of his neck as well as the more recent issues with seizure and memory loss it is scary) Of course he was scared but not one to show it. He continued to apologize for having to bother me. I had to tell him that I don't have money to give to him BUT I can do other things to help. I can help you find a doctor that will see you without insurance and work with you, take you to your appointments and pray. It blesses me to be able to help you so don't take away my blessing!! He agreed. So this morning I asked for prayer for my friend James during our daily group prayer. I made a phone call to the doctor, the Imaging center for his CT and the pharmacy to check on the price of the medication they prescribed. God is good. Each office will work with him on payments he can afford and his medication is only $4 each!! Already a blessing!! However, before I left the office for lunch I was handed and envelope to give to my friend James. I drove to his house to discuss the information I received and see about scheduling appointments. I said oh by the way, I was told to give this to you. Of course he had several questions and I said just open it. Inside the envelope he found cash and one of the God's Blessing in Action cards. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to know what he needed to do. I said nothing, just enjoy the blessing and someday down the road when you feel led to help someone, pass along the blessing! He was amazed that someone wanted to help him. I said that being able to bless someone else is a blessing in itself. I said that God has a plan for you! If you trust in Him, He will see you through. We chatted for a few more minutes and as I left he said, God bless you and please make sure that the person that sent this knows how much I appreciate it and God bless them too! He called me one more time before I got back to work just to say thanks again and what a huge blessing it was to him. I know God is working here and being able to see Him in action is wonderful! Thanks again for sharing the website with me! I have been blessed by watching the blessings!! PS updated info - all of his infection around his jaw was tooth related. We saw an Oral surgeon yesterday that did not have a payment play. We left there and I said, by the 1st it will all work out. I received a call last night that his dental bill is paid in full!! again GOD IS SO GOOD! thanks for allowing me to share!! "
